Can I get a tattoo before I'm 18?

No. We don't tattoo anyone under 18, even with a parent's consent. Bring photo ID to your appointment.

How much does a tattoo cost?

It depends on the size, detail, placement and the artist. We'll give you a price after your request or at a consultation. Our studio minimum is $100.

Can I use numbing cream?

We'd rather you didn't. It can change how the skin takes ink, affect the result and cause problems as it wears off mid-session.

How long until I can donate blood?

In NSW you can donate one week after a tattoo from a licensed Australian studio.

Do you do cover-ups?

Yes, if your artist thinks it will work. Include photos of the tattoo you want to cover in your request. Some need an in-person look first, and some can't be covered well.

Is there anything you won't tattoo?

We don't copy other artists' work, and we won't tattoo offensive or hateful imagery. Artists can also say no to designs or placements that don't sit right with them.

Can I get tattooed while pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. We suggest waiting at least a year after giving birth and 12 weeks after you stop breastfeeding.

Does it hurt?

It depends on the spot, the size and you. Most people describe it as a vibrating scratch. Eat beforehand, bring water and headphones, and tell your artist if you tend to faint.

Do you do cosmetic tattooing?

No. Microblading, freckles and lip blush are specialist work we leave to the specialists.

Do you do hand-poked tattoos?

Not right now. Hand-poke guest artists visit from time to time, so keep an eye on our Instagram.

Can you tattoo over scars?

Sometimes, depending on the artist's assessment. The scar needs to be fully healed, usually at least a year old. Check with your GP first.
